Comment
Comparative morphology, morphometrics, and molecular markers (16S mtDNA) summarized in the original publication, where this species was distinguished from other members of the Nyctixalus pictus complex (as well as including a dot map of the species' distribution). See comment under Nyctixalus pictus for access to older literature under that name which may apply to this species.
