Rhacophorus beddomii Boulenger, 1882, Cat. Batr. Sal. Coll. Brit. Mus., Ed. 2: 469. Holotype: BMNH, by original designation. Biju, Kamei, Mahony, Thomas, Garg, Sircar, and Suyesh, 2013, Zootaxa, 3636: 264, noted the registration of the holotype to be BMNH 1947.2.843 (formerly 1882.2.10.24, by museum records). Type locality: "Calcad [= Kalakkad] Hills, Tinnevelly [=Tirunelvelly] (3000 feet)", Tamil Nadu, India. Junior secondary homonym of Ixalus beddomi Günther, 1876 "1875".

Distribution

Southern Western Ghats in Kerala (Agasthyamala Hills, Anamallai Hillis, and Munnar) and Tamil Nadu (Kalakad-Mundanthurai Tiger Reserve and Indira Gandhi National Park), India, 200–1400 m elevation.
