Rhacophorus leucofasciatus Liu and Hu, 1962, Acta Zool. Sinica, 14 (Supplement): 95, 104. Holotype: CIB 602417, by original designation. Type locality: "Lo-dan [= Luodan], Yaoshan [=Dayao Shan], altitude 800 m, Kwangsi [= Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region]", China.

Distribution

Isolated localities in southern and northeastern Guangxi and eastern Guizhou, China.

Fei, Hu, Ye, and Huang, 2009, Fauna Sinica, Amph. 2: 799-802, provided an account and a spot map, resurrected this species from the synonymy of Rhacophorus dennysi, where it had been placed by E. Zhao in Inger, 1985, in Frost (ed.), Amph. Species World: 545, and Zhao and Adler, 1993, Herpetol. China: 155, and assigned this species to their Rhacophorus maximus group. Fei, Ye, and Jiang, 2010, Colored Atlas of Chinese Amph.: 463, provided a brief account for China including photographs of specimens. Fei, Ye, and Jiang, 2012, Colored Atlas Chinese Amph. Distr.: 547, provided an account, photographs, and a range map. Zhang, 2017, Amph. Rept. Fanjing Mts.: 170–172, provided taxonomic and natural history information for the Fanjing Mountains population in northeastern Guizhou, China.
