Telmatobius contrerasi Cei, 1977, J. Herpetol., 11: 359. Holotype: IBAUNC 2420-1, by original designation. Type locality: "Cerro Madrid, Gualcamayo Valley, 3050 m, San Juan Province, Argentina".

Common Names

Contreras' Water Frog (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 84).

Distribution

Known only from the type locality on the Cerro de Madrid, San Juan Province, Argentina.
