Telmatobius ignavus Barbour and Noble, 1920, Bull. Mus. Comp. Zool., 63: 414. Holotype: MCZ 4093, by original designation. Type locality: "within the town limits of Huancabamba, Piura, Peru".

Distribution

Rocky streams at 2700-3080 m in the Cordillera de Huancabamba, Departamento de Piura, Peru, 1840-3080 m elevation.
