Telmatobius pinguiculus Lavilla and Laurent, 1989 "1988", Alytes, 7: 90. Holotype: FML 03910, by original designation. Type locality: "La Cienaga (about 27°30′ S, 67°00′ W) near Medanitos (27°32′ S, 67°36′ W)", Catamarca Province, Argentina.

Common Names

Medanitos Water Frog (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 85).

Distribution

Known only from the type locality (La Cienega, Catamarca Province, Argentina).
