Telmatobius truebae Wiens, 1993, Occas. Pap. Mus. Nat. Hist. Univ. Kansas, 162: 65. Holotype: KU 181528, by original designation. Type locality: "Pomacochas (= Florida; 5°49′ S, 77°55′ W), 2180 m, Departamento Amazonas, Peru".

Common Names

Trueb's Water Frog (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 85).

Distribution

Known from several localities in the Cordillera Oriental, 2150-3470 m elevation, of Amazonas Department, northern Peru.
