Nototriton mime Townsend, Medina-Flores, Reyes-Calderón, and Austin, 2013, Zootaxa, 3666: 361. Holotype: USNM 579870, by original designation. Type locality: "Cerro Ulloa (15.3833°N, 86.0399°W), Parque Nacional Montaña de Botaderos, 1,705 m, Departamento de Olancho, Honduras".

Known only from the type locality (Cerro Ulloa, Parque Nacional Montaña de Botaderos, 1705 m elevation, Departamento de Olancho, Honduras).
