Thorius dubitus Taylor, 1941, Univ. Kansas Sci. Bull., 27: 108. Holotype: EHT-HMS 17751, by original designation; now FMNH 100039 according to Marx, 1976, Fieldiana, Zool., 69: 41. Type locality: "summit of mountain about two miles south of Acultzingo, Veracruz (near Puebla line)", Mexico.

Distribution

Pine-oak cloud forest on high mountain crests of west-central Veracruz (vicinity of Puerto del Aire and Acultzingo) and adjacent Puebla, Mexico, 2475–2800 m elevation.
