Thorius munificus Hanken and Wake, 1998, Copeia, 1998: 320. Holotype: MVZ 183274, by original designation. Type locality: "Mexican Hwy. 140, 4.5 km by road west of Las Vigas, Veracruz, México, elevation 2420 m".

Distribution

Pine-oak and pine forests within a few kilometers of the type locality (near Las Vigas, Veracruz, Mexico), 2380–2525 m elevation.
