Distribution

Throughout the Classical Karst of northeastern Italy and adjacent Slovenia, from the Gradisca d’Isonzo area southwards through the provinces of Gorizia and Trieste to the Timavo/Reka system, where it comes into contact with Proteus xanthostictus
