Distribution
Cyamudongo Forest, Rwanda, 1743 to 1985 m elevation; possibly to be found in adjacent Dem. Rep. Congo and northwestern Burundi.

Gower, Papadopoulou, Doherty-Bone, Pupin, San Mauro, Loader, and Wilkinson, 2011, Zootaxa, 2767: 14-24, reported on additional specimens, as did Measey, Hinkel, Dumbo, and Fischer, 2011, Afr. J. Herpetol., 60: 47-59. Channing and Rödel, 2019, Field Guide Frogs & Other Amph. Afr.: 28–29, provided a brief account, photograph, and range map.
