Ichthyophis biangularis Taylor, 1965, Univ. Kansas Sci. Bull., 46: 272. Holotype: BMNH 1872.2.19.59A, by original designation. Type locality: "Matang (Mt.), Sarawak, Borneo", Malaysia.

Distribution

Known only from western Sarawak, Malaysia, 30 to 1061 m elevation; possibly into adjacent West Kalimantan, Indonesia.

Das, Jankowski, Makmor, and Haas, 2007, Mitt. Hamburg. Zool. Mus. Inst., 104: 166, provided a brief description for Sarawak. Hibino, Nishikawa, Matsui, Eto, Shen, Ahmad, Hossman, and Gumal, 2026, Curr. Herpetol., Kyoto, 45: 1–18, reported on new specimens, their morphology, localities (including a dot map), genetic diversity, and natural history.
