Wien, 2: 9, and Gemel, Gassner, and Schweiger, 2019, Ann. Naturhist. Mus. Wien, Ser. B, 121: 38. Type locality: "Padang, Sumatra", Indonesia.

Common Names

Elongated Caecilian (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 25).

Distribution

West Sumatra (regencies of Pasaman Barat, Pasaman, Agam, Tanah Data, Padang, Solok, although suspected to be found somewhat more widely), Indonesia.
