Ichthyophis nguyenorum Nishikawa, Matsui, and Orlov, 2012, Curr. Herpetol., Kyoto, 31: 29. Holotype: ZISP 10711, by original designation. Type locality: "Mang Canh Village, Kon Plong District, Kon Tum Province, Vietnam (14° 41′ 18″ N, 108° 19′ 28″ E, 1200 m asl)".

Distribution
Southern (Dong Nai and Lom Dong Provinces) to central (Kon Tum Province) and northern (Tuyen Quang Province), Vietnam; possibly into adjacent Cambodia.

Endemic: Vietnam
