Comment
Confused with Rhinatrema bivittatum prior to its naming. Kok and Kalamandeen, 2008, Intr. Taxon. Amph. Kaieteur Natl. Park: 246-247, provided an account for this species as Rhinatrema cf bivittatum. Maciel, Sampaio, Hoogmoed, and Schneider, 2018, S. Am. J. Herpetol., 13: 287–299, discussed the phylogenetic placement of the species and provided a dot map.
