Microcaecilia dermatophaga Wilkinson, Sherratt, Starace, and Gower, 2013, PLoS One, 8(3: e57756): 2. Holotype: BMNH 2008.715, by original designation. Type locality: "dug from soil in forest close to Angouleˆme (5 ̊ 249 280 N, 53 ̊ 399 120 W, 55 m asl), just over 40 km East of St Laurent, French Guiana . . . . The type locality . . . is a forested area in the catchment of small streams feeding the Mana river."

Angoulême Microcaecilia (original publication). 

Distribution

Known from the vicinities of Saint Jean, Maroni, and Angoulême in French Guiana.
