Distribution

Known from the type locality (Itaituba, Pará) and a second nearby locality on the west bank of the middle Tapajós River, and from the Juruti site (near Igarapé Mutum) located in the intervening swathe of land between the Amazon River and the lower Tapajós River, Pará, Brazil.
