Distribution

Known from two localities in the Western Ghats of South India: Ranipuram (932 m elevation), Kerala, and Chikmagalur district (Charmadi Ghats) and Kodagu district (Bhagamandala, Coorg, Madikeri and Thalakaveri) in Karnataka.
