Distribution

Eastern Arc Mountains of Tanzania as well as adjacent Kenya.

Comment

Menegon, Gower, and Loader, 2011, Zootaxa, 3095: 15-26, provided a molecular tree for the species in the genus. Channing and Rödel, 2019, Field Guide Frogs & Other Amph. Afr.: 126–130, provided brief accounts, photographs, and range maps for the species.
