Common Names

Rana de Cristal de Campos (Spanish: Coloma and Duellman, 2025, Amph. Ecuador. Vol. 4: 425).
Distribution
Known only from the type locality (La Enramada) in the province of Azuay, near the border with the province of El Oro, on the southwestern slopes of the Cordillera Occidental of the Andes of Ecuador, inhabiting montane evergreen forests at 2950 m elevation.

J. M. Guayasamin, L. A. Coloma, and A. Terán-Valdez in Coloma and Duellman, 2025, Amph. Ecuador. Vol. 4: 425–240, provided an account, with photographs, which summarized identification, adult morphology, systematics, natural history, distribution (including a dot map for Ecuador), and conservation.
