Centrolene hybrida Ruiz-Carranza and Lynch, 1991, Lozania, 58: 8. Holotype: ICN 17897, by original designation. Type locality: "Departamento de Boyacá, municipio de Miraflores, vereda El Tunjito, finca 'El Vergel', 38 km., por carretera al ENE de Garagoa, vertiente oriental de la Cordillera Oriental, 5° 5′ latitud N, 73° 11′ W de Greenwich, 2020 m.", Colombia.

Eastern Giant Glass Frog (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 46).

Distribution

On the eastern slopes of the Eastern Andes in the states of Boyacá, Cundinamarca, and Caquetá, Colombia, 1° 45′—5° 30′ N), 1420-2020 m elevation.

In the Centrolene prosoblepon group according to the original publication. Mendoza-Henao, Duarte-Marín, and Rada, 2021, Amph. Rept. Conserv., 15 (2: e286): 156–171, reported on the advertisement call.
