Vitreorana franciscana Santana, Barros, Pontes, and Feio, 2015, Herpetologica, 71: 290.  Holotype: MNRJ 81776, by original designation. Type locality: "near base of Casca D’Anta waterfall (20°18′059″S, 46°31′199″, 850 m above sea level [m a.s.l.]; datum 5 SAD69), São Francisco River, Serra da Canastra National Park, Vargem Bonita, State of Minas Gerais in southeastern Brazil."

None noted. 

Distribution

Known from (1) the type locality, Casca D'Anta (waterfall) in Serra da Canastra National Park, (2) Presidente Olegário, (3) São Gotardo, and (4) Nova Ponte, all in west-central state of Minas Gerais, Brazil.

Comment

 Bang, Lisboa, Teixeira, Giaretta, and Carvalho, 2020, Phyllomedusa, 19: 35–47, described the advertisement call. Maffei, Moya, Sousa, and Morais, 2024, Check List, 20: 1041–1045, provided a new eastern-most record in Minas Gerais, Brazil, and summarized knowledge of its distribution, including a dot and polygon map.
