Known from two localities in the municipality of Luziânia, state of Goiás, central Brazil: the type locality and a locality at 16°21'29"S, 48°18'22"W.

Comparative morphology, molecular markers (mtDNA), advertisement calls, and natural history provided by the original publication, where this species was suggested to be Vitreorana parvula.
