Centrolenella bergeri Cannatella, 1980, Proc. Biol. Soc. Washington, 93: 719. Holotype: KU 182363, by original designation. Type locality: "58.1 km SW Villa Tunari (by road), 1980 m, Departamento Cochabamba, Bolivia (65° 50′ W, 17° 11′ S)".

Common Names

Distribution

Amazonian slopes of Andes from the Departamento Cuzco, Peru, southwards to the Departamento Santa Cruz, Bolivia, 300-1980 m elevation.

In the Hyalinobatrachium fleischmanni group according to Ruiz-Carranza and Lynch, 1991, Lozania, 57: 1-30. See De la Riva, Köhler, Lötters, and Reichle, 2000, Rev. Esp. Herpetol., 14: 29, for access to literature. Márquez, De la Riva, and Bosch, 1996, Herpetol. J., 6: 97–99, described the advertisement call. See brief account by Köhler, 2000, Bonn. Zool. Monogr., 48: 90-91. Castroviejo-Fisher, Padial, Chaparro, Aguayo-Vedia, and De la Riva, 2009, Zootaxa, 2143: 24-44, reported the advertisement call and corrected previous identifications and made cogent comparisons.
