Comment
In the Hyalinobatrachium fleischmanni group, according to Ruiz-Carranza and Lynch, 1991, Lozania, 57: 1–30. Cisneros-Heredia and McDiarmid, 2007 "2006", Herpetotropicos, Mérida, 3: 21–28, provided a map for Ecuador. Cisneros-Heredia and McDiarmid, 2007, Zootaxa, 1572: 56, discussed the species in Ecuador and noted the relevant literature. See comment under Hyalinobatrachium lemur. See photograph, map, description of geographic range and habitat, and conservation status in Stuart, Hoffmann, Chanson, Cox, Berridge, Ramani, and Young, 2008, Threatened Amph. World: 220. Cisneros-Heredia and McDiarmid, 2007, Zootaxa, 1572: 57, regarded Hyalinobatrachium lemur to be likely conspecific with Hyalinobatrachium pellucidum but did not make a formal change. Wen, Vazquez, and Castroviejo-Fisher, 2012, Zootaxa, 3480: 80–87, reported on the advertisement call. Twomey, Delia, and Castroviejo-Fisher, 2014, Zootaxa, 3851: 44–46, provided new distributional data for Peru and additional life history data. Guayasamin, Cisneros-Heredia, McDiarmid, Peña, and Hutter, 2020, Diversity, 12 (222): 132–135, provided a detailed account, primarily focused on Ecuador, including adult morphology, advertisement call, relationships, natural history, and conservation status. Díaz-Ricaurte and Guevara-Molina, 2022, Stud. Neotrop. Fauna Environ., 57: 51–65, provided a record from San José del Fragua municipality, Caquetá Department, Colombia, and provided notes on natural history.
