Mannophryne urticans Barrio-Amorós, Santos, and Molina, 2010, Phyllomedusa, 9: 11. Holotype: CVULA 7224, by original designation. Type locality: "Río Frío, northwestern slope of the Cordillera de Mérida, Estado Mérida, Venezuela (08° 51′ N, 71° 17′ W), elevation 676 m".

Distribution

Known only from the type locality on the western piedmont of the Cordillera de Mérida, Estado Mérida, Venezuela, elevation 676 m.

Comment

Most similar to Mannophryne collaris according to the original publication. Rojas-Runjaic, Matta-Pereira, and La Marca, 2018, Zootaxa, 4461: 451–476, distinguished the species and refined the range. See Barrio-Amorós, Rojas-Runjaic, and Señaris, 2019, Amph.
