Mannophryne vulcano Barrio-Amorós, Santos, and Molina, 2010, Phyllomedusa, 9: 20. Holotype: CVULA 7170, by original designation. Type locality: "northern slope of Cerro El Volcán, Baruta, Estado Miranda, Venezuela (10° 25′ N, 66° 51′ W), elevation 1064 m".

Common Names

Caracas Collared Frog (original publication).

Distribution

Known only from the type locality (northern slope of Cerro El Volcán, Baruta, Estado Miranda, Venezuela, elevation 1064 m); expected to be all around the Carcas Valley, including the Parque Nacional Avila.
