Colostethus alessandroi Grant and Rodríguez, 2001, Am. Mus. Novit., 3355: 16. Holotype: MUSM 17741, by original designation. Type locality: "San Pedro, Cosñipata, Paucartambo, Departamento de Cuzco, Peru, GPS coordinates 13° 03′ S, 71° 32′ W, 1480 m . . . from atop a rock beside a stream".

Distribution

Known only from the riparian habitats in the vicinity of the type locality in the Department of Cuzco (13° 03′ S, 71° 32′ W) as well as San Gabán, Department of Puno, Peru, 820–1480 m elevation.
