Colostethus edwardsi Lynch, 1982, Herpetologica, 38: 367. Holotype: ICN 6376, by original designation. Type locality: "Cueva de Las Moyas, 0.7 km SW Los Patios, vereda Las Mollas (= Moyas?), município La Calera, Departamento Cundinamarca, Colombia, 3030 m".
