Type locality: "Don Simon Camp, 210 m above sea level, 5 km southeast Comunidad Nativa de Davis (approximately 9° 59′ S, 74° 40′ W), Cordillera El Sira (also known as Serranía de Sira), Departamento Pasco, Peru".
