Distribution
Known from the type locality, a lowland farm in Ban Monjong, Omkoi District, Chiang Mai, northern Thailand; southeastern Yunnan (Ankang Township), China, and disjunctly in Myanmar in Sagaing (Chatthin, Kanbalur Township), Kachin (Myitkyina Township), Chin (Kampatlat Township, Mindat Township), and Ayeyarwady (near Pathein).

Makchai, Chuaynkern, Safoowong, Chuachat, and Cota, 2020, Amph. N. Thailand: 66, provided a brief account for Thailand, and a range map.. Garg and Biju, 2021, Asian Herpetol. Res., 12: 345–370, summarized the systematics (morphology and molecular markers) of this member of the Minervarya agricola group and mapped its distribution. Zug, 2022, Smithson. Contrib.
