Common Names
Chiang Mai Rain-Pool Frog (original publication).

Distribution
Known from the type locality, a lowland farm in Ban Monjong, Omkoi District, Chiang Mai, northern Thailand; southeastern Yunnan (Ankang Township), China, and disjunctly in Myanmar in Sagaing (Chatthin, Kanbalur Township), Kachin (Myitkyina Township), Chin (Kampatlat Township, Mindat Township), and Ayeyarwady (near Pathein).

Res., 12: 345–370, summarized the systematics (morphology and molecular markers) of this member of the Minervarya agricola group and mapped its distribution. Zug, 2022, Smithson. Contrib.
