Fejervarya goemchi Dinesh, Kulkarni, Swamy, and Deepak, 2018 "2017", Rec. Zool. Surv. India, 117: 304. Holotype: ZSI/WRC/A/2015, by original designation. Type locality: "Surla village (N 15.651; E 74.131, 700 amsl), Goa", India.
Minervarya goemchi — Here (28 Nov. 2018), by implication of the statement in the original publication that it is the sister taxon of Minervarya kudremukhensis.

Distribution
Western Ghats of Maharashtra, Goa, and Karnataka, southwestern India.
Comment
The sister taxon of Fejervarya kudremuckhensis (now in Minervarya) and sympatric with Fejervarya cepfi (now in Minervarya) according to the original publication. Garg and Biju, 2021, Asian Herpetol. Res., 12: 345–370, summarized the systematics of this member of the Minervarya mysorensis group and mapped its distribution.
