Distribution

Widely distributed in the southern Western Ghats, up to the elevations of 220 m elevation, nearly across the entire state of Kerala and the adjoining areas of Tamil Nadu.

In the Minervarya syhadrensis group according to the original publication, where external morphology, advertisement call, and molecular markers were detailed.
