Distribution
Ngoc Linh Mountain of the Central Highlands in Vietnam, and from Xekong Province, Laos. Expected to be more widespread in the Central Highlands of Vietnam and adjacent Laos.

Molecular delimitation based on 16s mtDNA alone, although comparative morphometrics were provided.
