Pseudopaludicola ceratophyes Rivero and Serna, 1985 "1984", Caribb. J. Sci., 20: 169. Holotype: MHNCSJ 334, by original designation. Type locality: "Leticia, Amazonas, Colombia".

Distribution

Amazon Basin in extreme southeastern Colombia, northeastern Peru, and adjacent western Brazil.

Comment

In the Pseudopaludicola pusilla group of Lynch, 1989, Copeia, 1989: 577-588. Rodríguez and Duellman, 1994, Univ. Kansas Mus. Nat. Hist. Spec. Publ., 22: 72, provided a brief account for the Iquitos region of northeastern Peru. Lynch, 2005, Rev. Acad. Colomb. Cienc. Exact. Fis. Nat., 29: 58-588, reported this species from Leticia, Colombia. Pansonato, Veiga-Menoncello, Mudrek, Jansen, Recco-Pimentel, Martins, and Strüssmann, 2016, Herpetologica, 72: 246, provided a range map. Metcalf, Marsh, Torres Pacaya, Graham, and Gunnels, 2020, Herpetol. Notes, 13: 753–767, reported the species from the Santa Cruz Forest Reserve, Loreto, northeastern Peru.
