Pseudopaludicola facureae Andrade and Carvalho, 2013, Zootaxa, 3608: 390. Holotype: AAG-UFU0853, by original designation. Type locality: "Clube Caça e Pesca Itororó de Uberlândia (18°58′30.46″ S, 48°17′ 26.23″ W; 790 m above sea level), Municipality of Uberlândia, State of Minas Gerais, southeastern Brazil". Known from (1) the type locality in the municipality of Uberlândia, and (2) ca. 250 km to the west in the municipality of Limeira do Oeste, both in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil.

The original publication addressed external morphology and the advertisement call. Carvalho, Teixeira, Borges-Martins, and Giaretta, 2015, North-West. J. Zool., Romania, 11: 262–273, reported on call characteristics, provided the record from Goias, Brazil, and discussed variation in characters previously considered to be diagnostic. Neves, Yves, Pereira Silva, Alves, Vasques, Coelho, and Silva, 2019, Herpetozoa, Wien, 32: 113–123, provided habitat information and records for western Minas Gerais, Brazil. Population from Palmeiras de Goiás, Goiás, Brazil, now assigned to Pseudopaludicola coracoralinae. Vaz-Silva, Maciel, Nomura, Morais, Guerra Batista, Santos, Andrade, Oliveira, Brandão, and Bastos, 2020, Guia Ident. Anf. Goiás e Dist. Fed. Brasil Central: 144–145, provided an account for Goiás, Brazil. Call described in the original publication.
