Distribution
Known from the type locality (Andaraí, Chapada Diamantina, state of Bahia), and ca. 200 km to the southeast in the municipality of Mutuípe, state of Bahia, ortheastern Brazil, and 560 south of the type locality in the municipality of Nanuque, state of Minas Gerais, southeastern Brazil.

Comment
Most closely related to Pseudopaludicola pocoto and Pseudopaludicola mineira according to the original publication, where external morphology, comparative morphometrics with Pseudopaludicola pocoto, Pseudopaludicola mineira, and Pseudopaludicola falcipes, the advertisement call, and molecular markers were detailed.
