Distribution
Known from Serra das Flores, municipality of Viçosa do Ceará, state of Ceará, and approximate 700 km to the southeast at Floresta Nacional de Nisia Floresta, municipality of Nísia Floresta, state of Rio Grande do Norte, west to eastern Maranhão and central Tocantins, Brazil.

Comment
In the Pseudopaludicola saltica group according to the original publication, where the calls, morphology, morphometry, and karytotype were described as well as natural history. Andrade, Haga, Lyra, Gazoni, Zaracho, Haddad, Toledo, and Giaretta, 2022, Stud. Neotrop. Fauna Environ., 57: 66–82, discussed the range with respect to call parameters, morphometrics, and molecular markers.
