Distribution
Known from western Tocantins state, from Marianopolis in the north to Cristalândia in the south, as well as in immediately adjacent extreme southeastern Pará, and extreme northeastern Mato Grosso, Brazil.

Comment
Comparative morphology, advertisement call, molecular markers, natural history, and evolutionary placement (the sister of Pseudopaludicola jazmynmcdonaldae + Pseudopaludicola mysticalis) detailed in the original publication. Rachid, Coelho, Carvalho, Recoder, Farhat, Rodrigues, and Moraes, 2025, Herpetol. Bull., London, 174: 23–27, reported on morphology and diet, and provided (and mapped) new records from Santa Terezinha municipality, Pará state and Santana do Araguaia, Mato Grosso state, Brazil.
