Known from six municipalities in the coastal region of Espírito Santo State, Brazil (Serra [type locality], Guarapari, Presidente Kennedy, Vitória [Reserva Ecológica Municipal Mata Paludosa], Vila Velha [Morada Interlagos and Vale Encantado lagoon], and Itapemirim [Lagoa das Sete Pontas or Lagoa Guanandy]) as well as Jurubatiba National Park, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Comment
Carmo, Miguel, Pinna, Fernandes, and Woitovicz-Cardoso, 2019, Biota Neotrop., 19 (2: e20190727): 1–12, reported the species from Parque Nacional da Restinga de Jurubatiba, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and discussed its ecological range.
