Type locality: "Cafundó, Gentio do Ouro municipality, Bahia state, Brazil (11°12’41.21’’ S, 42°35’16.96’’ W, 829 m a.s.l.)". Invalid due to lack of ZooBank registration.

Comment

Adult morphology, molecular markers, advertisement call, and natural history detailed in the original publication. This was followed by a subsequent paper (Mângia, Amaral, Müller, and Santana, 2026, Zootaxa, 5768: 298–300) that validated the name of the species.
