Distribution
Mount Jinggang, Jiangxi Province, the adjacent Taoyuangdong Nature Reserve and Mangshan, Yizhang County, Hunan Province, and the Nanling Reserve, Guangdong Province, China, at 900 to 1300 m elevation along rocky streams in moist subtropical evergreen broadleaves forests.

In the Brachytarsophrys feae group of Li, Zhang, Lyu, Wang, Li, Liu, Chen, Rao, Jin, Zhang, and Wang, 2020, Zool. Res., Kunming: 105–122. Qian, Li, Chen, Li, and Yang, 2023, ZooKeys, 1139: 1–32, described larval morphology from Yizhang County, northern Guangdong Province, southern China.
