Brachytarsophrys wenshanensis Hem Huang, Li, Chen, and Yuan in He, Ai, Huang, Li, Liu, Lan, Chen, and Yuan, 2024, Asian Herpetol. Res., 15: 24. Holotype SWU 0004072, by original designation. Type locality: "Xiaoqiaogou District, Wenshan National Nature Reserve, Xichou County, Wenshan Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, China (23˚22′7.26″N, 104˚47′18.95″E, 1470.64 m a.s.l.)". Not Zoobank registered so taxonomic act will take the date of the appearance of the paper-published version (currently unknown, DRF).
