English Names
Garo White-lipped Horned Frog (original designation).
Distribution
Currently known only from the southern slopes of the Tura Peak Reserve Forest (437–640 m elevation), in the West Garo Hills district of Meghalaya state; likely that this species will be found throughout the adjoining Nokrek National Park and BiosphereReserve, however its eastern distribution limits and altitudinal range are yet to be determined.
Comment
In the Megophrys major complex according to the original publication. In the Xenophrys major group of Lyu, Zeng, Wang, Liu, Huang, Li, and Wang, 2021, Zootaxa, 4927: 9–40.
