Comment

For accounts of species see Blommers-Schlösser and Blanc, 1991, Faune de Madagascar, 75: 92-102, and Glaw and Vences, 2007, Field Guide Amph. Rept. Madagascar, Ed. 3: 140-143, provided accounts. Vences, Glaw, Köhler, and Wollenberg, 2010, Contrib. Zool., Amsterdam, 79: : 1-32, reported on cryptic species implied by mtDNA analysis. Pyron and Wiens, 2011, Mol. Phylogenet. Evol., 61: 543-583, suggested that Anodonthyla is the sister taxon of remaining cophylines.
