English Names

Southern Korean Salamander (original publication). 


In extreme southern Rep. Korea from the foot of Jiri Mountain on the northwest, Gwangyang on the southwest, Masan on the southeast and Haman on the northeast; also present the islands of Namhae, Changseong, and Geoje off the southern coast. 


Previously confused with Hynobius leechii and Hynobius quelpartensis, according to the original publication.
