Type locality: "Departamento de Antioquia, municipio de Frontino, corregimiento Nutibara, Km 27 carretera Nutibara a La Blanquita, vertiente occidental de la Cordillera Occidental, 6° 48′ latitud N, 76° 18′ W de Greenwich, 1140 m", Colombia.
