Nymphargus mixomaculatus (Guayasamin, Lehr, Rodríguez, and Aguilar, 2006)
Cochranella mixomaculata Guayasamin, Lehr, Rodríguez, and Aguilar, 2006, Herpetologica, 62: 164. Holotype: MUSM 18653, by original designation. Type locality: Cordillera de Carpish, vicinity of Caserío Carpish de Mayobamba (09° 43′ 50″ S, 76° 06′ 46″ W; 2625 m), Departamento Huánuco, Provincia Huánuco, Peru".

Distribution
In the north from Reserva Comunal Chayu Nain (Province of Utcubamba, department of Amazonas), and Bosque de Protección Alto Mayo (Province of Moyobamba in the Department of San Martín) to the type locality in the vicinity of Caserío Carpish de Mayobamba (Departamento Huánuco, Provincia Huánuco, Peru, 2650 to 3180 m elevation.

In the Cochranella ocellata group according to the original publication. Venegas and García Ayachi, 2021, Check List, 17: 407–414, provided new localities, discussed natural history, conservation status, and provided a range map.
