Comment
See (as Liurana medogensis) Fei, 1999, Atlas Amph. China: 224–225, for brief account, figure, and map. Fei, Hu, Ye, and Huang, 2009, Fauna Sinica, Amph. 3: 1481–148, provided an account for China (as Liurana medogensis), figures, and map, and placed this species in their Liurana xizangensis group. Fei, Ye, and Jiang, 2010, Colored Atlas of Chinese Amph.: 382-383, provided a brief account (as Liurana medogensis) including photographs of specimens and habitat. Li, Zhao, and Dong, 2010, Amph. Rept. Tibet: 51-52, provided an account. Fei, Ye, and Jiang, 2012, Colored Atlas Chinese Amph. Distr.: 488, provided an account (as Liurana medogensis), photographs, and a range map for China. Borah, Bordoloi, Purkayastha, Das, Dubois, and Ohler, 2013, Herpetozoa, Wien, 26: 39–49, discussed specimens from Arunachal Pradesh, northeastern India. Roy, Begum, and Ahmed, 2019, J. Threatened Taxa, 10: 12942, reported the species throughout Dibang Valley District and Lower Dibang Valley District, Arunachal Pradesh, northeastern India. Saikia and Sinha, 2019, Rec. Zool. Surv. India, 119: 303–315, implied that records of this species from India are unlikely to be nominal Liurana medogensis, either newly named (e.g., Liurana minuta, Liurana indica, Liurana himalayana), or still unnamed.
